Use Zola’s Add to Zola option from Manage Registry and keep the direct store link, rather than a cash equivalent. A guest purchases on Name Day, then can return to Zola to mark the gift purchased.

Use The Knot’s browser button while viewing the Name Day listing. The Knot says purchases made outside its registry are not tracked.

MyRegistry

On desktop, use MyRegistry’s browser extension or bookmark while viewing Name Day; on mobile, use its app. After an outside purchase, a guest must return and answer its purchase prompt to mark the gift purchased.

Joy

Under Manage Registry, use Add Gift from Anywhere and keep the external-store link, rather than a cash equivalent. With an outside purchase, the guest may need to return to Joy to mark it purchased.

Does the registry show my future last name?

No. The listing carries your first name only. Your future last name, and everything that shapes your plan, is entered privately by you after the gift is opened.

What does a guest need to give it?

Nothing private. They write their words, choose the envelope, and pay $39. Nothing about your plan is shared with them.

What if my state isn’t covered yet?

We cover 20 states today. If yours isn’t one of them, we stop before personal details or payment rather than let a guest buy something that cannot be fulfilled. We do not collect your email there.
