Do you need a name change service, or can you do it yourself?
You can handle a marriage name change yourself by following the relevant agencies’ and institutions’ instructions. Paying for a service is a choice about the help you want: research and organization, prepared paperwork, printed materials or support. Before comparing prices, decide which of those jobs you would actually pay someone to do.
When doing it yourself makes sense
DIY can work if you are comfortable finding official instructions, checking that they fit your situation and keeping track of unfinished updates. Other updates may have agency or institution fees whether or not you buy a service.
